For high school students, FloridaShines provides comprehensive resources such as researching Florida's public colleges and universities, comparing school profiles, exploring career and technical programs, reviewing admissions requirements and deadlines, and learning about various financial aid options.

College and university students can benefit from FloridaShines by accessing the Online Course Catalog to explore and register for online courses, applying to take courses at other institutions, understanding the impact of transferring or changing degree programs, connecting with libraries across the state, and discovering free textbook options. Even adults have opportunities with FloridaShines, as they can explore ways to finance their education, research and compare profiles from Florida's 40 public colleges and universities, explore degree and certificate programs, and discover career and technical centers. FloridaShines, provided by the Florida Virtual Campus (FLVC), is funded by the state, ensuring that all tools and resources are available at no cost to students.
