## Description

The Society for St. Patrick’s Day Parade Florissant MO is a nonprofit organization formed in January 2021 by Florissant residents. Building on the city’s tradition of community festivals, the Society brings people together to celebrate local heritage and enjoy what Florissant has to offer. Its signature event is the annual Florissant St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Festival and 5K Run, welcoming community members to take part in a day of activities. The 2026 celebration is scheduled for March 15 and includes an 8:45 a.m. 5K run, a noon parade and a festival from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. The run and festival are based at the Duchesne Home Association Grounds, while the parade begins near Bangert Park and Duchesne Elementary School and ends at the grounds. The organization also provides opportunities for sponsors and community members to participate, including banner sign-ups and a swag store. Through this annual gathering, the Society supports a shared celebration rooted in community and tradition.
