## Description

FluidVoice is a local-first voice-to-text brand offering tools that turn natural speech into polished text for everyday writing and work. Its main product is a Mac app that lets users dictate into text fields across email, documents, chat, terminals, and code editors using a keyboard shortcut. Available for macOS 15.0 and both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, FluidVoice processes speech on-device by default and works offline. The app combines Fluid Speech Mini for transcription with Fluid-1 models for cleanup, formatting, and tone adjustment. Users can choose Fluid-1, Fluid-1 Mini, or Fluid-1 Pico, configure writing modes and app-specific tones, and select from more than 40 languages and several speech recognition models. Optional AI providers, including OpenAI and Groq, are available at the user’s discretion. FluidVoice is free forever and open source under GPLv3, with more than 350,000 downloads reported. Windows and iPhone versions are in beta, with waitlists available. The company also presents FluidMeet as a separate meeting-focused product alongside its dictation tools.
