## Description

It helps brands, manufacturers and suppliers demonstrate the environmental characteristics of products and packaging through an internationally scalable certification and licensing system. Products and packaging are assessed by accredited laboratories and certification partners, with results publicly verifiable in the flustix database.

Its certifications cover reduced plastic content, freedom from microplastics, recycled content, recyclability and freedom from PFAS. Depending on the claim, assessments can apply to a product, its packaging or both, and may be combined to support a consistent sustainability strategy across a product range. flustix also provides guidance to help businesses identify suitable certifications and review environmental claims, including through a free EmpCo claim check.

The certification process includes initial advice, independent testing or auditing, and, upon successful assessment, a certificate and public database entry. The system is designed to support companies navigating requirements such as EmpCo, PPWR and SUPD, and to communicate substantiated claims across packaging, marketing and supply chains.
