## Description

FlyCafe specializes in live, flightless fruit flies and supplies for keepers and breeders of dart frogs, praying mantises, and other exotic pets. Its main offerings are Wingless D. melanogaster and flightless D. hydei cultures, shipped at peak production to provide actively hatching feeder insects. Cultures are made in small batches using the company’s Ultimate Fruit Fly Media, described as mold-resistant, calcium-fortified, and rich in brewer’s yeast. The 32-ounce cultures are designed to remain productive for several weeks, depending on conditions.

FlyCafe also sells fruit fly media in multiple sizes, including Ultimate and Premium blends for customers who make their own cultures. Other supplies include natural aspen excelsior, oak leaves for vivariums, and pre-vented deli containers with mesh lids. The company ships by USPS Priority Mail to the continental United States, Monday through Wednesday, and offers a live-arrival guarantee, with support for orders that arrive dead or nonproductive. Its product range serves hobbyists, small breeders, and pet owners seeking feeder insects and culture-making materials.
