## Description

Sackville Minor Hockey Association (SMHA) is a community hockey organization serving players in Sackville and the surrounding area. It organizes minor hockey across age groups from U5 through U18, with programs and teams at multiple skill and competition levels, as well as a U23 minor junior league. The association provides team schedules, game results, statistics, news, registration information, and resources for players, families, coaches, and team managers.

SMHA supports participation both on and off the ice through financial aid information, volunteer opportunities, coaching certifications, and guidance for first-time volunteers and student on-ice helpers. Its development offerings include goaltending instruction for registered U9–U18 goalies of all skill levels, delivered in partnership with coach Chris Wall during the 2026–27 season. The organization also coordinates evaluations, tryouts, team formation, and ice schedules, and shares practical updates about equipment and team operations. Beyond hockey programming, SMHA promotes community activities and fundraising, including a bottle drive, golf tournament, hockey pool, and 50/50 draws.
