## Description

FlyForFun Flight Club Salzburg is a nonprofit flying club dedicated to paragliding and hang gliding at the Gaisberg, Salzburg’s historic local mountain. With a flying tradition spanning nearly a century, the club maintains the Gaisberg flight area and welcomes members and visiting pilots from around the world. The site offers four takeoff areas for different wind directions, landing zones, groundhandling fields, and Hike & Fly routes. Pilots can also use the Gaisbergbus to reach the launch areas.

The Gaisberg supports local recreational flights as well as alpine cross-country flying, but it is a demanding mountain environment close to the city. The club provides flight-area information, pilot checklists, weather services, safety guidance, and details on airspace, including the CTR and Gaisberg and Schwarzenberg TRA. Visitors can purchase day tickets through the online shop, while pilots can join the club or renew membership. FlyForFun also organizes club events, training, safety talks, and community activities for its diverse flying teams.
