## Description

Flying W Ranch Chuckwagon in Colorado Springs, CO is not just a brand, but a piece of living history. Since its humble beginnings in 1953, this iconic Colorado destination has been dedicated to keeping the Old West alive. It all started with Russ and Marian Wolfe's dream of creating a Chuckwagon Suppers and Original Western Stage Show business. What began with just 11 paying guests has now grown to serve over 125,000 people annually. At Flying W Ranch Chuckwagon, visitors can immerse themselves in the spirit of the Old West. The Western Village, with its 29 unique and diverse structures, showcases the best of Western history. From the Trading Post, built with recycled logs from a Girl Scout Jamboree, to the Village Assembly Hall, featuring stunning Southwest Native American architecture, each building tells a story. To complement the authentic atmosphere, the Flying W Wranglers take center stage. With their three-part harmonies, time-honored tunes, and clean bunkhouse humor, they are the second-oldest Western performance band in the world. Their performances have delighted audiences of over seven million people, both at the ranch and in prestigious venues around the globe. The journey of Flying W Ranch Chuckwagon hasn't been without challenges. In 2012, the devastating Waldo Canyon Fire consumed the ranch, leaving only a small building, a teepee, and a wooden cross standing. But thanks to the Wolfe family's unwavering dedication and extensive mitigation efforts, the ranch has been reborn. Today, Flying W Ranch Chuckwagon continues to offer its famous Chuckwagon Suppers and Original Western Stage Shows, providing an unforgettable experience that combines horseback riding, home-cooked meals under the stars, and a genuine taste of the Old West. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply looking for a unique Colorado experience, the Flying W Ranch Chuckwagon is a must-visit destination.
