## Description

Fly Shooter is an Australian information and community hub for the Fly Shoot, a mid-range precision benchrest rifle competition conducted at ranges across the country by the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (SSAA). The sport challenges participants to combine rifle tuning and technical skill with the ability to read wind flags and changing conditions, making sound decisions during five timed, seven-minute target details. Its benchrest format reduces physical demands and allows shooters of different ages to compete on an even footing, while fostering a welcoming community alongside serious competition.

The website helps competitors and newcomers follow the sport and take part. It features match schedules and time calls, competition range information spanning five Australian states, match results, records, a Hall of Fame, rules, articles, and practical resources. Shooters can also explore Shooter of the Year standings and eligibility, browse galleries and community photographs, and connect through the Fly Forum. News coverage includes national championship updates, while a newsletter provides match schedules and other news.
