# Flugmodellclub Gersthofen - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `fmc-gersthofen.de` ## Description Flugmodell Club Gersthofen-Gablingen e.V. is a model aviation club founded in 1974 and based around the communities named in its title. Since 2016, its official name has reflected this connection to its home area. The club is a member of the German Model Flying Association (DMFV) and welcomes enthusiasts across model aviation, including helicopter, powered-flight and gliding disciplines. With around 140 members, including approximately 100 active flyers, the club brings together people of different ages and backgrounds, from beginners to experienced pilots. It offers a community in which members and interested newcomers can pursue model building and flying, exchange knowledge and enjoy the hobby together.
