## Description

FNL Coach is an unofficial, free resource hub for coaches in South Orange County’s Friday Night Lights 6-on-6 flag football league. Built by coaches for coaches, it supports K–8 teams across divisions and serves communities including Lake Forest, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, and Rancho Santa Margarita. The site focuses on the local game’s format, rules, and practical needs, with guidance on four-quarter play, no-run zones, flag pulling, and season tournaments.

Its coaching toolkit includes offensive route concepts, defensive coverage schemes, animated diagrams, whiteboard PDFs, and a library of 32 drills with coaching points and variations. Coaches can also use roster and lineup tools to plan positions, playing time, and substitutions. A searchable jersey database organizes designs by team, season, division, and color.

FNL Coach also publishes practice advice and strategy through Coach’s Notes, shares league schedules and rule updates in archived dispatches, and curates information about off-season camps, clinics, and skill coaches. The resource is independent and states that it is not affiliated with FNL South Orange County.
