Founded in 2012, Focus Academy is a Florida Public Charter School and Transition Program that caters to students with cognitive and/or developmental disabilities in grades 6-12 and beyond. This innovative institution was the brainchild of a dedicated group of parents who wanted a place where their children would be valued and supported. Focus Academy aims to create an educational environment where academic success is not only expected but also achieved.
