## Description

Fog Companion is a Windows companion app for Dead by Daylight, running through Overwolf to display useful information alongside the game. It automatically detects the map when a match loads and shows the corresponding callout graphic on screen, helping players communicate locations without switching to a second monitor. The app also provides a 1v1 chase timer that starts and stops automatically by detecting in-game actions, with support for automatic Blight and Nurse detection.

Players can browse and install community-made callout packs and timer themes, or create their own. A browser-based map editor lets users draw maps, label areas, and apply consistent colours and typefaces across a pack. Timer themes can be customised with HTML and CSS. Fog Companion can also connect to OBS and switch streaming scenes as the game moves between the lobby, loading screen, and trial. Community stores are available to explore without an account; an account is needed to use other people’s work in the app. Support is provided through Discord.
