## Description

Foil Racing League (FRL) is building a national league for flatwater electric hydrofoil racing in the United States. Its flagship event, the Miami Foil GP, is scheduled for Sunday, November 15, 2026, at Miami Marine Stadium on Virginia Key, Florida. The electric-only race day brings riders together for head-to-head heats, category finals and a full-field endurance race, with $10,000 in prize money.

The league features four categories: Pro Men, Open Men, Open Women and Youth competitors under 18. At the Miami event, round-robin matchups award points, the top four riders in each category advance to winner-takes-all finals, and the Enduro tests speed, control and battery strategy. The event also offers racer registration, which includes entry across race formats and official rider apparel and kit, as well as a $100 VIP boat experience with on-course viewing. Spectators can attend free, with food trucks, DJ music, demo rides and a vendor village; all-day parking costs $20. FRL identifies Lift Foils as a founding partner and is developing an eight-stop North American tour.
