Folds of Honor is a brand that was founded in 2007 by Lt Col Dan Rooney. Their mission is to honor the sacrifice of military families by providing educational scholarships. They take great pride in having awarded over 44,000 scholarships to military families.

Lt Col Rooney's own experience as an F-16 fighter pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard inspired him to start this noble initiative. Folds of Honor is dedicated to meeting sacrifice with hope. They believe that education has the power to change lives and create opportunities.

In addition to supporting the families of fallen or disabled military personnel, they have also extended their mission to include the families of first responders. The brand is committed to diversity, with 41% of their scholarships awarded to minority recipients. They have been recognized with the GoldStar Platinum Seal and have received a 4/4 rating.
