## Description

Folkatorps Ridsportsällskap is a nonprofit equestrian association and riding school located in Folkatorp, near Kumla, Sweden. Founded in 1993, it welcomes children, young people and adults, including people who do not ride, and aims to make equestrian activities accessible to everyone. Riding lessons are available from age four, and the association offers riding across the mounted disciplines of equestrian sport, as well as education in horse care and management. Membership is required to take lessons.

The association promotes a safe, inclusive community built on responsibility, respect, enjoyment and togetherness, guided by the Swedish Equestrian Federation’s principles. Beyond lessons, its facilities include an indoor arena and riding area, which members and non-members can use through hourly or annual fees; whole-arena rental and open arena sessions are also available under specified arrangements. Lesson schedules may change for events, camps and competitions. Folkatorps Ridsportsällskap serves the Kumla area and surrounding South Närke region, with a vision to be the natural choice for people interested in horses and equestrian sport.
