## Description

Folk Punjab is a vibrant initiative dedicated to celebrating and preserving Punjabi poetry. Inspired by the success of Rekhta for Urdu poetry, Folk Punjab aims to create a comprehensive repository that showcases the richness of Punjabi literary heritage. This platform hosts a diverse collection of poetry, proverbs, and riddles, accessible in three different scripts: Shahmukhi, Gurmukhi, and Roman. This thoughtful approach ensures that all Punjabis can engage with the content in a script they are familiar with, promoting inclusiveness within the community.

Under the guidance of founding editor Sohail Abid and a dedicated editorial team, Folk Punjab continuously updates its archive by adding new poets and works each month. The platform also encourages community involvement, inviting users to submit poems from lesser-known Punjabi poets to enrich its collection. With a commitment to fostering a deeper appreciation for Punjabi poetry, Folk Punjab serves as a dynamic hub for enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
