## Description

FollowMe is a digital solution developed by French company SAS MyCareProcess to improve communication and experiences in hospital emergency departments. Created by a team formed by two emergency physicians, it addresses the uncertainty patients and relatives face while waiting, while helping reduce routine information requests that interrupt clinical staff.

After a patient registers at reception, FollowMe sends a link by text message or email, giving access to its web app without requiring a download. The app provides real-time updates on care milestones, explains upcoming steps, and offers educational information and estimated waiting times. Patients’ relatives can also follow the journey remotely. The information is updated from the patient record, so staff do not need to enter the same data twice.

FollowMe also offers a staff interface for managing the emergency department’s patient journey, alongside interoperability capabilities designed to meet French national digital health requirements. The company highlights French software development, certified health-data hosting, data protection, and clinical staff control.
