## Description

The Fondation Danielle Mitterrand, established in 1986, is dedicated to fostering democratic, solidarity-based, and ecological alternatives in response to harmful global practices and human rights violations. With a mission to give life to "utopias in resistance," the foundation engages in a variety of initiatives aimed at promoting social justice and sustainability. Key programs include the promotion of democratic models and community empowerment through events like the Alternatiba Tour and the ecofeminist festival "La Sève."

The foundation also focuses on awareness-raising activities, including exhibitions, workshops, and various publications that highlight its ongoing projects and the achievements of its partners. Recognized as a public utility foundation with consultative status at the UN, it welcomes donations, legacy gifts, and life insurance contributions to support its impactful work. By inviting communities to join its committees, the Fondation Danielle Mitterrand inspires collective action for a fairer and more sustainable future. Engage with them on social media to stay updated on their latest initiatives and events.
