## Description

Fondazione Amleto Bertoni is a foundation established in 1999 by the municipal administration of Saluzzo. As an instrumental body of the Comune di Saluzzo, it works to support tourism and promote the city and its surrounding territory. The foundation organizes, promotes and coordinates major events in the Saluzzo area, while also hosting events, exhibitions and conferences.

Its programme includes MercAntico, a recurring city-centre market featuring crafts, hobbies, second-hand goods and small antiques, as well as the Festa del libro medievale e antico and the Saluzzo school-orientation fair. The foundation provides information and participation arrangements for market exhibitors and offers spaces for events.

It also contributes to local development through initiatives such as the Terre del Monviso Commerce District, which supports commercial and food-service businesses, and the Polo del Legno Monviso, a space for timber-sector promotion and discussion that has hosted a local wood auction and explored training initiatives. Through its events and projects, Fondazione Amleto Bertoni connects cultural life, local businesses and community development, helping celebrate the area’s traditions while encouraging new opportunities.
