## Description

Fondazione Biocene ETS is an Italian foundation that supports associations and organizations working to protect the environment. Its mission is to turn shared values into practical action by providing resources and opportunities for collaboration. The foundation promotes an integral approach to ecology, connecting care for nature with responsibility toward human communities, both present and future.

Its work is guided by sustainability, education and collaboration. It supports initiatives that respect the balance between nature, people and communities, with particular attention to the sea, inland waters and biodiversity. Through education, it aims to share knowledge and skills that help younger generations understand and address environmental and social challenges. It also brings associations, professionals and young people together to encourage dialogue and strengthen social and cultural connections.

Fondazione Biocene’s activities include supporting projects, the Educoceano laboratory and the “Il Pianeta azzurro” thesis award. Looking ahead, it aims to develop a meeting place for environmental projects, especially those focused on water, where people and organizations can exchange expertise, build partnerships and help ideas and communities grow.
