## Description

Fondazione Mancuso Onlus is a nonprofit organization serving the residents of Sant’Agata di Militello, Italy. Established by relatives and friends of the late lawyer Salvatore Mancuso to honor his memory, the foundation develops initiatives addressing the community’s practical needs and supporting social and cultural growth. Its work spans social and healthcare assistance, charitable support, education and training, arts and culture, sport, and environmental protection. A central initiative is its integrated day center, founded in 2015 to offer young people with disabilities a welcoming place to meet, take part in activities, and overcome physical and social barriers. The foundation also supports families experiencing financial hardship, including through food vouchers, and organizes courses, lessons, and educational trips. Its projects have included scholarships for deserving students, installing home lifts for people with mobility difficulties, and free electric minibus transport within the local cemetery for visitors with limited mobility. Volunteers and community partnerships help deliver its programs, while donations support its charitable activities.
