## Description

Fondazione Muto is a nonprofit foundation based in Naples, Italy, dedicated to supporting scientific and healthcare research, particularly in oncology and diagnostic imaging. Its mission is to help promising ideas become research projects, encourage talented researchers, and make scientific discoveries accessible to the wider community. The foundation selects research proposals and researchers for funding, supports independent, nonprofit clinical research, and helps finance the publication of significant scientific articles so findings can be shared more widely. It also contributes to the development of young researchers by reimbursing eligible training expenses in Italy and abroad. Alongside research funding, Fondazione Muto promotes scientific communication and awareness of cancer prevention, recognizing the importance of knowledge in the effort to combat cancer. Researchers can submit projects for review, while individuals and businesses can support the foundation through donations and other contributions, including Italy’s 5×1000 tax designation. Through its funding, training, and outreach activities, Fondazione Muto works to strengthen medical research and ensure its results can benefit patients and society.
