At FoodCycle, we are dedicated to nourishing communities with both food and conversation. Our vision is to eradicate food poverty, loneliness, and food waste in every community. Every week, we organize community dining events where we provide delicious meals and companionship to the hungry and lonely, using food that would otherwise go to waste. Through our tireless volunteers and their commitment, we are making a difference not just locally but on a national scale. Our volunteers connect communities, support mental health and well-being, reduce loneliness, and promote sustainability. In 2022 alone, we saved 209 tonnes of food from being wasted, had 5,458 volunteers donate 91,688 hours of their time, and 87% of our guests reported feeling more connected to their community after attending our meals. Whether you are in need of a meal or want to give back, everyone is welcome at FoodCycle. We have various volunteer roles available, and no specific experience is required. Join us in our mission to create a world without food poverty and waste.
