## Description

FoodDepotAlimentaire is the provincial association of food banks for Food Banks Canada, serving as the central hub for food storage, distribution, fundraising, and advocacy. With a dedicated team and a network of 65 member agencies, they support over 3000 food banks, kitchens, shelters, and nonprofits across Canada. Their primary goal is to address food security by providing essential services to those in need. Through their provincial food distribution program, they collect and distribute an impressive 11 million pounds of food annually, supporting 44,000 visits and providing 53,000 breakfasts each week. They ensure that all food banks in New Brunswick receive timely delivery and have access to a well-maintained 15,000 square foot warehouse with industrial refrigeration. FoodDepotAlimentaire further supports the community by purchasing products worth 10 million dollars for their network and partnering with local farms through a food buying strategy. They also offer opportunities for organizations to join their network, providing access to food supply purchases, food recovery initiatives, funding opportunities, and more. Join FoodDepotAlimentaire and make a meaningful impact on food security in your community.
