## Description

Yeelen Olympique is a youth football development project based in Bamako, Mali, dedicated to helping talented players progress on and off the pitch. Its academy supports young people’s footballing and personal development, aiming to equip each player to reach their potential and pursue opportunities at higher levels of the game. The project combines coaching and scouting with an environment focused on character, commitment, ambition, humility and courage. Its football philosophy emphasizes intensity, pressing and counterattacking, alongside ball control, possession, tempo, space and positive, attacking play.

Yeelen Olympique also highlights pathways followed by its alumni, several of whom have progressed from the academy to clubs in Europe. These journeys include players such as Mamadou Sangare, Moussa Djenepo and Ousmane Diakite. A dedicated staff team, including leadership, finance, coaching, scouting and sports administration roles, supports the project. Through training, matches and daily academy life, Yeelen Olympique works to develop the next generation of Malian football and create pathways from its Bamako base to the wider football world.
