## Description

FootballBid is a supporter platform that turns backing football teams and players into paid, public rankings. Supporters place stakes on clubs, individual players, leagues and cups, and the highest bidder becomes the FootballBid Owner. The size of the winning stake determines the rank: users can claim an available position or outbid an existing owner, with each takeover recorded on the platform. FootballBid emphasizes that rankings are based on bids rather than votes or pundit opinions.

The site offers team and player leaderboards, competition listings, live activity feeds, takeover updates and supporter profiles that show the combined value of owned badges. Users can explore popular leagues and cups, view current rankings and identify lower-cost unclaimed badges, with listed starting stakes from $2. Battles highlight changing activity but do not affect rank. FootballBid also features owner standings, recent bids, reign durations and a Hall of Fame, creating a competitive space for fans to display their support and compare their positions across football.
