## Description

Kevin Toms is a pioneering British games designer and developer, best known for founding Addictive Games and creating the iconic 'Football Manager' video game in the early 1980s. This groundbreaking title shifted the gaming landscape by introducing a football management strategy format, diverging from the arcade-style games prevalent at the time. Over the past 40 years, various iterations of Football Manager have become available on nearly every gaming platform, solidifying its status as a classic in the genre.

Toms' journey began with a passion for programming and board games, leading him to combine these interests into the original Football Manager. His innovative approach allowed for customizable league structures and unpredictable gameplay, setting a high standard that many successors failed to match. Today, Kevin continues to develop engaging games, including a modern adaptation of Football Manager for mobile devices. He also writes about his experiences in the gaming industry and frequently participates in retro gaming events, further cementing his legacy in the world of video games.
