## Description

The Federação Ornitológica Portuguesa Cultural e Desportiva (FOP) is a Portuguese federation dedicated to cultural and sporting activities related to ornithology. Its website connects visitors with information about the federation, its clubs, breeders, and the CTJ/FOP, while providing updates and resources for the wider ornithological community. The FOP publicizes bird exhibitions and competitions organized by affiliated clubs and groups, including events across Portugal, and shares schedules, venues, and organizer details. Its notices cover practical topics such as exhibition labels with QR codes, urgent requests for bird rings, and the registration of exotic birds and invasive species. The site also provides access to relevant legislation, news, and information about participating clubs and breeders. Through these resources, the federation supports communication among people and organizations involved in bird keeping and exhibition, while helping them stay informed about events and regulatory matters. The FOP is based in São João dos Montes, Portugal, and provides contact details for general enquiries, alongside its terms, privacy policy, and cookie information.
