## Description

Friends of Recovery of Delaware and Otsego Counties, Inc. (FOR-DO) is a grassroots nonprofit supporting individuals and families affected by addiction. Its work promotes recovery through advocacy, education, and peer support, with a vision of recovery being supported and celebrated as a common reality.

FOR-DO operates Turning Point recovery centers in Oneonta, Delhi, and Norwich, serving communities across Otsego, Delaware, and Chenango counties. Its programs provide welcoming spaces and practical support for people on their recovery journeys. The organization also offers the Oneonta Teen Center, a safe and inclusive space for teens, and Club Oddyssey, a drug-free place for young adults to socialize.

The Fordo Warm Line provides confidential, nonjudgmental peer support and information for people in Delaware County who are not experiencing a crisis. It is available daily from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. FOR-DO also makes Narcan and other harm-reduction supplies available free of charge through a 24/7 vending machine in Oneonta. Additional support includes rides to appointments and access to basic amenities at its recovery center.
