## Description

Forbes Business Council is a fee-based, vetted professional organization for owners, founders, and senior executives of small and midsized businesses. Applicants generally need a business generating at least $500,000 in annual revenue or one that has raised at least $500,000 in funding; a selection committee reviews applications before inviting approved candidates to choose a membership package. The council’s services focus on visibility, connections, and professional growth. Members can contribute concise responses to Expert Panels and submit bylined articles for consideration by Forbes.com editors. They also receive a search-friendly Executive Profile, which can showcase their biography, company, links, and published contributions. Through a member portal and mobile app, members can message peers, join discussions and interest-based groups, and take part in virtual events led by experts. Additional benefits include membership badges and promotional materials, access to the EXEC travel and lifestyle benefits program, and dedicated member support. Qualified applicants can also receive a complimentary 30-minute strategy session with a premium business coach; private coaching is available for an additional cost.
