## Description

Forbidden Root is a wellness-focused brand built around the idea that pleasure and wellbeing can go hand in hand. Its products bring together medicinal mushrooms, adaptogens, and indulgent formats, inviting customers to make self-care an enjoyable ritual. The brand’s main offering is organic mushroom tinctures made with 100% fruiting bodies. Mushrooms are sourced primarily from an organic partner farm in Finland, with other certified organic European growers used occasionally; the current Maitake batch, for example, comes from the Netherlands. Tinctures are made through water-and-alcohol dual extraction, supported by ultrasound-assisted processing. Accredited third-party laboratories test each batch for microbiological purity and heavy metals before it is approved for bottling. Forbidden Root also offers adaptogenic cookie doughs infused with mushroom extracts. These doughs are organic, gluten-free, and vegan, though they are currently available only as baked cookies. The brand serves customers in Switzerland and other European markets, and shares product news, FAQs, and contact options through its online store.
