The Journal of Forest Business Research (JFBR) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal that focuses on the science of sustainable business within the forestry sector. It publishes original research and reviews on various topics related to forest investment, finance, and business, forest-related industries and wood market dynamics, forest silviculture and management, and forest economics and policy.

JFBR aims to foster scientific developments and promote scientific discourse in responsible forest investments, management, and sustainable forest-based industries. The journal also supports the forestry community by sponsoring Forest Business Economics Awards, which recognize outstanding research presentations at forest-related conferences.

Contributions from diverse disciplines in forestry and related fields are welcome, as long as they have clear implications for forest business, investments, and management. The journal covers subjects such as forest investment finance and business, forest-related industries and wood market dynamics, forest silviculture and management, and natural resource economics and policy.

Articles are published annually in two issues after the copyediting and proofreading process. JFBR provides regular e-mail alerts to keep readers informed about the publication of each issue.
