## Description

Forest City Outdoors is a family-owned and operated hunting and fishing destination near Gettysburg, South Dakota. Its third-generation farm has been in the family for 80 years and includes more than 7,000 acres, including a private hunting preserve of over 2,500 acres. Food plots, waterways, creeks, and grasslands support wildlife and provide varied terrain for guided hunts. Experienced local guides lead pheasant hunts, with three- and five-bird packages and the possibility of bonus Hungarian partridge, grouse, and prairie chickens. Guests can also arrange goose and coyote hunts, including a goose pit hunt near Pierre, as well as guided fishing on Lake Oahe and the Missouri River.

The lodge offers four bedrooms, each with twin beds, a private bathroom, and a television, along with shared lounge and bar spaces. Forest City Outdoors provides lodging packages, home-cooked meals, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Dining ranges from casual favorites to smoked prime rib and pheasant alfredo, with desserts served throughout guests’ stays.
