## Description

ForestCover promotes the wise use and conservation of natural resources, helping keep farms and forests part of the working landscape. Its work is focused on strengthening timberland value, protecting critical habitats, and supporting local businesses. The organization brings together forestry, wildlife, land management, and education experience to serve state, federal, private, and industrial landowners, forest products companies, and corporate clients.

ForestCover’s services include developing short- and long-term land management strategies, creating GIS databases and conducting statistical analysis, and planning and implementing forest and habitat treatments. It also supports natural resources education and outreach for schools, legislators, landowners, and the public. Additional expertise includes overseeing harvest and construction operations, negotiating natural resource contracts, and merchandising and marketing forest products.

ForestCover was founded by Brendan Prusik, a licensed forester with degrees in education, forest biology and resource management, and forest technology. His experience includes work with UNH Extension and Champion International Corporation, alongside professional and community involvement in forestry, timberland management, and public education.
