## Description

Forest Forward is a nonprofit organization investing in South Dallas, Texas, through community partnerships and a long-term vision for equitable neighborhood revitalization. Its work aims to expand economic mobility and improve outcomes for children, residents, and families. Guided by community stakeholders, the organization takes a holistic approach that connects housing, education, arts, and economic opportunity.

A central focus is the restoration and expansion of the historic Forest Theater, a longtime cultural landmark in South Dallas. The project is intended to create spaces for performances, creative work, and community innovation, while attracting visitors and supporting entrepreneurship and skills development. Planned and featured facilities include a theater and creative laboratory, a studio theater, recording and podcast studios, and a rooftop deck.

Forest Forward also advances an educational pathway developed with the Dallas Independent School District and supports accessible mixed-income housing as part of its broader neighborhood strategy. Through these initiatives, the organization seeks to build a just, healthy, and thriving South Dallas.
