## Description

Forged in Ire Forge is a California-based, American-made blacksmithing and bladesmithing business founded by Andy Stein. After discovering blacksmithing through a class at The Crucible in Oakland, Stein developed his craft and opened the forge, where products are made in-house with a focus on quality. The brand specializes in handcrafted knives for a range of uses, including cooking, work, and camping. Its goal is to create durable blades designed to stand the test of time and be passed down through generations.

Forged in Ire Forge also features a custom shop, a gallery, and torture-testing content, offering visitors ways to explore its work and the making process. Stein shares his ongoing experiences in bladesmithing and metalworking to encourage others who want to enter the craft, especially those without easy access to a mentor or school. He is a member of The Crucible, an Oakland school of industrial arts, and recommends its classes and blacksmithing guides to people interested in learning hands-on skills.
