## Description

ForAfrika is an African-founded and led public charity working to help communities and the continent thrive. With more than 40 years of experience, the organisation combines locally rooted knowledge and relationships with a broader African perspective, delivering programmes across countries including Angola, Ethiopia, Mozambique, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan and Uganda. Its approach connects humanitarian response, long-term development and social enterprise through a framework called the Dynamic Development Continuum. Rather than treating these areas separately, ForAfrika works alongside communities to strengthen the assets and capabilities needed for lasting progress, greater self-sufficiency and commercial viability. Its activities include work in areas such as education, health and nutrition, as well as support for locally led development and community outcomes. ForAfrika also partners with funders and other organisations, offering an African platform for local programme delivery. The organisation reports reaching more than 6.3 million people through programme activities in 2025, and says 86% of its staff are nationals of the countries where it operates.
