## Description

The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland is a Calgary destination where the Bow and Elbow rivers meet and stories, history, and cultures come together. It invites local visitors to connect with the land and offers tourists opportunities to learn about the people and events that have shaped the city. Visitors can explore exhibits, the garden, films, podcasts, and guided tours, including experiences focused on Fort Calgary’s history. The site also hosts public events, from workshops and walking tours to film screenings, talks, and community celebrations such as Bison Days and National Day for Truth and Reconciliation programming.

For schools, The Confluence offers interactive, curriculum-connected field trips for elementary students in Grades 1–6 and junior high classes, along with professional development, youth camps, sleepovers, and evening programs. Groups can book private tours and experiences, while organizations and individuals can explore event spaces for gatherings, weddings, and holiday parties. The Confluence also welcomes community involvement through donations, volunteering, partnerships, and sponsorships, and shares information about its history, strategic plans, and ongoing transformation.
