Established in 2009, FGTA emerged from local tennis enthusiasts' efforts to repair the park's dilapidated courts, raising over $60,000 for maintenance. This vibrant association not only offers opportunities for playing tennis but also organizes lessons, clinics, and social events that cater to players of all ages and skill levels. In collaboration with the Fort Greene Park Conservancy, FGTA hosts various activities, including tournaments and community clean-up days, fostering volunteerism and promoting health through tennis. Members can participate in the ladder system for competitive play, find partners, and take advantage of racquet stringing services. The association is committed to enriching the Fort Greene neighborhood, drawing on its rich historical backdrop, and continues to inspire new generations of players from its storied courts. Join FGTA to get involved, stay updated on events, and contribute to a thriving tennis community!. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Tennis _(under Sports)_ - 🎗 Community and Society ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/FortGreeneTennisAssociation) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/fortgreenetennis) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idcrqKVE23/w/1500/h/1460/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1776796837019) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idcrqKVE23/w/392/h/392/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1776796837122) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Endeavour | #005cb8 | accent | | Timber Green | #18332f | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
