## Description

For the Fishes (FTF) is a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on the conservation of coral reef wildlife and the sustainable management of marine resources. Operating from Kihei, Hawaii, FTF tackles the urgent environmental crisis posed by the capture of tens of millions of fish for aquariums each year. Through a combination of consumer education, scientific research, and advocacy, FTF works to curb the demand for coral reef fish and other marine species that are unsustainably harvested from their habitats.

FTF offers valuable resources for marine fishkeeping enthusiasts, including the innovative Tank Watch and the Good Fish/Bad Fish tool, which guide users in making eco-friendly choices for their aquariums. The organization encourages community involvement and impact through initiatives like signing pledges and donations. By joining FTF, individuals can support efforts to keep fish in their natural environments and protect vulnerable marine species. With a commitment to fostering awareness and facilitating action, For the Fishes empowers consumers to contribute positively to marine conservation.
