## Description

The Fort Worth Westerners Corral is a nonprofit history organization and the local chapter of Westerners International. Founded in 1965, it is the oldest of eight active Corrals in Texas. Membership is open to anyone interested in local, Texas, or Western history, making the group accessible to history enthusiasts from a range of backgrounds.

The Corral hosts a one-hour history presentation online via Zoom on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Programs explore Fort Worth, Texas, and the broader American West, with speakers drawn from the membership, local historians, and university professors. Visitors are welcome and can request meeting details through the organization’s contact form. The group also holds in-person gatherings in Fort Worth in July and December.

Annual membership costs $20 for an individual or $30 for a couple, with dues supporting both the local Corral and Westerners International. Membership fees and donations can be paid online or by check.
