Forum Compraverde Buygreen is a European event focused on green procurement policies, projects, products and services across the public and private sectors. Organized by Fondazione Ecosistemi, it brings together public authorities, businesses, experts and other organizations working to advance sustainable purchasing and fairer models of development. Its annual program combines conferences, talks, training, networking and opportunities for business and innovation. The forum’s activities include the GPP Academy, the Compraverde Awards, publications and the Buygreen Community, alongside sessions on areas such as sustainable construction, public catering, healthcare, sport, culture and social procurement. It also helps public administrations develop green tenders and supports businesses in understanding procurement requirements and strengthening their supply chains with sustainable products, processes and expertise. The 2026 edition, scheduled for 27–28 May in Rome, addresses green public procurement as a tool for prosperity, competitiveness and Europe’s strategic autonomy. Recent editions have involved participants and organizations from multiple countries, with speakers, conferences and awards dedicated to practical progress in sustainable procurement.
