## Description

Forum Historiae is a history journal focused on historical research and related social sciences. Published in connection with the Historical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, it provides a platform for scholarly articles, themed issues, and discussion of topics relevant to Central European and broader European history. Its recent issues address subjects including twentieth-century mobility, political socialization, medieval society, intellectual history, migration, and social change. The journal presents mobility, for example, as a political, economic, social, cultural, and spatial process shaped by conflict, changing borders, forced migration, and social restructuring.

Forum Historiae also maintains an e-library featuring books and other historical publications, alongside a searchable archive of journal issues and articles. Its website provides information about the editorial board, ethical standards, and instructions for authors, as well as current calls for contributions. Readers can explore research drawing on archival sources, personal documents, interviews, statistics, and interdisciplinary approaches such as oral history and memory studies. The journal is based in Bratislava and identifies its content with ISSN 1337-6861.
