It brings together health-sector professionals, public decision-makers, citizens and representatives of local communities to examine how the health system can meet future needs. Its mission is to foster open, science-based debate and develop ambitious, durable proposals that serve the public interest, at a time when political polarization can hinder lasting solutions. The Forum organizes its work around four principles: consensus and representation, long-term planning, forward-looking analysis grounded in people’s needs, and the use of science and rationality in public debate. Its strategic discussions consider demographic, territorial, professional and innovation trends, as well as the system’s structure and financing. A Strategic Orientation Committee guides the Forum’s work, bringing together people with experience in health, public decision-making and civil society.
