# fossavatn.is - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `fossavatn.is` ## Description Fossavatnsgangan is a historic cross-country ski event held in the mountain landscape around Ísafjörður, Iceland. The event brings together local and international skiers, from elite competitors to families and recreational participants, and forms part of several ski-racing series, including Íslandsgangan, Worldloppet and Ski Classics. Its main races offer distances of 12.5, 25 and 50 kilometres, alongside a 25-kilometre ski-skating event, night races of 35 and 70 kilometres, and shorter family and children’s routes of one and five kilometres. The programme spans several days and includes race administration, participant registration, transport to the courses, and live timing and results. The organisation also provides training support through Fossaþrek, with weekly group sessions in Ísafjörður, training plans and guidance for ski-track preparation. For visitors, it points to Wild Westfjords, a local travel agency offering packages that can include accommodation, transport and activities. The Fossavatn online shop, event information, historical results, schedules, rules and practical travel guidance help participants and spectators plan their visit. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Winter Sports _(under Sports)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Camping Scouting and Outdoors _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/fossavatn) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/fossavatnsgangan) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id1j4lXTwI/w/1540/h/2072/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791110248117) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id1j4lXTwI/w/317/h/317/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791110248291) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tory Blue | #0b56a4 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Spindle | #abcfec | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
