Based in Villers-sur-Mer, it brings together members who exchange knowledge and deepen their understanding of paleontology, with a particular connection to the region’s geological heritage and the fossil-rich Vaches Noires cliffs. The association offers a program of public talks, field outings, conferences, and other events. Its activities explore subjects including fossils, geology, minerals, prehistoric environments, and the history of scientific collections. APVSM also organizes joint excursions with partner groups and takes part in community events, including an annual open day. For people interested in learning more, the association provides opportunities to become a member and participate in its activities. It also publishes and shares specialist resources, including conference proceedings, annual chronicles, bulletins, and its journal, L’Écho des falaises. Through these events and publications, APVSM supports the exchange of knowledge and encourages wider interest in paleontology and regional natural history. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Earth Sciences _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/PaleoVillers) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idFGL-EnaB/w/91/h/77/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793028261248) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idFGL-EnaB/w/1156/h/1156/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793028261816) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Cadet Blue | #abb8c3 | accent | | Blumine | #215387 | dark | | Cherokee | #fdd79a | light | ## Fonts - var(--bs-font-sans-serif) — asset _(custom)_ - var(--bs-font-sans-serif) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
