## Description

FOTODOK is a brand that provides a space for documentary photography in the heart of Utrecht, the Netherlands. Housed in a charming old school building near the Dom, FOTODOK organizes thought-provoking photo exhibitions, lectures, debates, and educational programs centered around social issues. They go beyond traditional photography and also use film, virtual reality, and web documentaries to share compelling stories through different mediums. In a world where news articles are getting shorter and images flood our screens, FOTODOK offers in-depth background stories, allowing for reflection and a better understanding of the world we live in. As part of their ongoing commitment to showcasing emerging talent, FOTODOK also hosts various events and supports young photographers through their Lighthouse and Talent Embassy programs. Whether you're a photography enthusiast or simply curious about the power of visual storytelling, FOTODOK is the perfect place to see, think, and learn.
