FOTOTREFF Berlin is a non-profit initiative dedicated to promoting and fostering contemporary photography. Established in 2014 as a network meeting for artistic and documentary photographers, FOTOTREFF Berlin offers a platform for professional photo practitioners and enthusiasts from various fields to engage with current photographic discourses. Through a curated program of bi-monthly evening events, FOTOTREFF Berlin brings together photo editors, curators, art buyers, photographers, and more, to explore and discuss the latest developments in the world of photography.

The events feature different formats, including the FOTOTREFF TALK, where invited guests engage in conversations and open Q&A sessions with the audience. The BOOK SLOT module showcases selected publications in book and magazine formats, from early-stage projects to finished publications. In the SHOW+TELL format, photographers present their works in progress, seeking feedback and inspiration from the audience.
