## Description

Founders First CDC is a community development corporation and national platform that helps diverse-led, employer-based small businesses across the United States access capital and build lasting community impact. Through business accelerators, funding-readiness education, coaching, and grants, it supports founders as they strengthen operations, plan for growth, and scale their companies. Its Passport offerings include a self-paced course with assessments and action planning, live expert-led sessions on marketing, sales, operations, and finance, and a premium option with advisor support, consulting, and financial tools. Founders First also offers Zebra Leadership, a program for developing founders’ leadership and team systems, and FastPath, an accelerator for growth-driven B2B businesses. Grant opportunities include national awards for veteran, mother-owned, and LGBTQIA+ businesses, combining micro-grants with program access. A founder community and practical resources, including webinars, events, and success stories, complement its programs. The organization reports serving more than 5,000 member companies over ten years, deploying over $20 million in capital, and helping create 2,777 full-time jobs.
